A PAST EVENT!

On Sunday, June 7, 2015, the choir of Immanuel Lutheran Church

and a small orchestra, directed by Maki Matsui,

presented three movements of the Grand Mass in C minor by W. A. Mozart, during the morning service.

The "Kyrie" movement began as the prelude for the service. Then during the service

the choir sang the "Gloria in excelsis" and the "Cum sancto spiritu" movements

Also, Kathleen Carlson did a beautiful rendition of Mendelssohn'

On Sunday, April 12, 2015, Alice Parker returned to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Amherst,

to lead one of her famous HYMN SINGs.

A PAST EVENT!

On Sunday, November 9, 2014, Immanuel Lutheran Church celebrated the 25th anniversary of

Dr. Matthew Cron's first coming to be our organist in 1989. In honor of this anniversary, the

Choir, directed by Maki Matsui, presented the cantata BWV 146,

Wir müssen durch viel Trübsal,

by J. S. Bach, during the morning service

A PAST EVENT!

J. S. Bach, Cantata BWV 182, Himmelskönig, sei willkommen, was presented

by Choir, Soloists, and Instrumentalists at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Amherst, MA,

867 North Pleasant Street, during the Sunday Morning Service, June 1, 2014.

The church's choir is under the direction of Maki Matsui, with Matthew Cron, organist.

This was a wonderful musical presentation enhancing our worship service.
